Catalytic Reforming Solutions
NOVOROCS Technologies showcases its products at the Fuel Cell Seminar and Energy Exposition in Los Angeles, CA. This trade show has been a staple of the fuel cell industry for over 40 years, bringing together professionals, researchers, policy makers, and other stakeholders to exchange the latest exciting developments in the industry. In addition to several prototype catalytic devices on display at its exhibit booth, the Company demonstrated a working prototype catalytic grill to the delight of many visitors who were treated to their first ever “catalytic hotdogs” grilled over a flameless, NOx free thermal energy emitter. Dr. Pavel Snytnikov, Technical Director, also presented his latest research on CO Preferential Oxidation Assisted by Preferential CO Methanation, which was well received.
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority has awarded an additional $493,110 in follow-on funding to NOVOROCS Technologies for development of novel catalysts for production of syngas for fuel cells. The project includes development of bench-scale prototype devices for key customers, including GE Fuel Cells and FuelCell Energy. Funds from the project will also be channeled toward expansion of technical capabilities at NOVOROCS’s Rochester R&D facility and creation of additional high skill jobs.
